About the Maker
After too many years at a desk, I left tech to create with my hands. I trained at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship under Aled Lewis and Phil Morley, then started Roseworth Studio to build custom pieces and small batches.
My aim is to replace the ordinary objects in our homes with functional, beautiful ones — made slowly, by hand, in ways that impart soul into the work. I document the making to bring people closer to the things they depend on, to share craft with the next generation, and (since I have a goldfish memory) to remind myself how I did it last time.
I work in domestic hardwoods sourced as sustainably as possible, and try to design pieces that put offcuts and waste from other projects to use.
I'd love to hear about what you're envisioning for your space.
